Maxie (her full name is Maxine) is an interdisciplinary scholar specializing in the archaeology, history, & cultures of the global human family -- from prehistory to the present day. She is a professor of Global History at Kleinort Community College in East Central Illinois. Maxie is a terrific storyteller, drawing on extensive public domain resources to present historical, mythological, legendary, and folkloric materials from all around the world, with a focus on humankind's unity-in-diversity.
