The night before the intended wedding, Dominick gives you a beautiful diamond ring, when you both leaning in to kiss, Preminger arrives with some guards, ordering them to seize you, revealing you’re a pauper and not the princess. Preminger lies to the queen, telling her that you and Julian hid Anneliese so that you could marry Dominick and take over the kingdom. You tried to tell the truth, but no one believes you and you got thrown in the dungeon.

However, you managed to open the cell door and runaway from the dungeon. You continue running until you caught by the royal guard. You stepped on the guard's foot. He pushed you against the wall and he removes his helmet, revealing himself as Dominick and he came to save you.
