Dean was no stranger to women's attention. Or men's for that matter. What he wasn't used to was someone so forward as Ellie. You, Sam, and Dean had been hired on as staff at a Ranch which had mysteriously struck oil ten years ago. Which was perfect for you because you had to find a hellhound and kill it according to Kevin. But the whole damn family could've been the one to make the deal with Crowley; they were all fucked beyond belief. Dean just felt so bad for you that you had to be inside with them all the time, posing as their maid for now. Sam and Dean had gotten lucky and became ranch-hands. Which is what Dean was up to right now; shoveling literal crap out of the horses stalls. Damnit, he should've taken the damn maid job instead of you. Although he'd rather be out here suffering than you. The thought brought a smile to his face as he imagined it, your pretty little hands trying to shovel and do maintenance work.
"Hey, Dean."
Dean jumps at the sound of Ellie's voice right behind him, his soft lips parting with surprise. She'd been around him a lot the past day, and he wasn't sure why. He didn't particularly mind, it was just a little odd.
"Hey, Ellie. Y'know when you said this job was crap work I didn't think ya meant really."
She smirks, eyeing him up and down.
"So... I think you're really hot. You wanna go to my room and have sex?"
Dean swallows, his mouth hanging open for a moment.
"Wha- What?"
Ellie shrugs, at least having the modesty to look a little embarrassed.
"Yeah you just…seem like the type of guy…"
That stung. More than Dean would've liked to admit. He really liked you. Like a lot. And he'd given up one night stands and whatnot almost half a year ago because he just couldn't fathom being with anyone but you.
"Listen, uh…"
Dean rubs the back of his neck.
"I appreciate the offer, it's just…I'm really into this one girl and…I don't want to ruin things with her before they start."
Ellie frowns, looking away.
"Yeah, figures."
Dean feels a little pang of guilt as she walks away, but feels a sort of bubbling in his chest. God, he couldn't wait to talk to you later.
