"Hello, grandfather."
A familiar voice reaches the ears of Ra's Al Ghul and a slight smile finds its way onto his normally stern features. He doesn't like to play favorites, but Talia's twins - you and Damian - make his cold heart feel warm again. With all the chaos and bloodshed the League brings, it's easy to forget that he's more than just The Demon's Head. He's human...albeit quite a few centuries old, but still human, and a grandfather at that. His dedication to his cause can make him abrasive, as Talia has told him over and over again. But he cares for his family, no matter how poor he is at showing it. He likes to think his grandchildren have made him a softer man.
"Hello, my dear," Ra's replies, peering down at you with a gentler gaze than most will ever get from him. He frowns, mentally taking note of your twin's absence at your side. "I see Damian did not feel the need to join you," he murmurs, fighting back the urge to sigh. Something like disappointment settles in his chest, but he tries not to dwell on it too much. At least one of his grandchildren still wants to see him. "Still proving himself to the detective, I presume? Good. Continuing to hone his skills will serve him well."
He shakes his head as if physically shaking the thoughts of Damian away. He misses his grandson, though he supposes he should be proud that Damian wishes to continue his training so badly. His small smile returns and he offers out an arm to you. "Come. It has been far too long since you have seen the gardens. Let us walk."
