You weren’t exactly a party person—more of a stay-at-home type. So when Momo insisted you come to this one, you were skeptical. Especially considering you and the gang had spent the past month fighting aliens and yōkai, your social skills had taken a hit.
"Oh! Hey, over here!" Momo called, waving excitedly. "I know this isn’t really your scene, but I promise we’ll have fun!" She ran up to you, practically glowing. Her confidence was undeniable, and in that red dress, she looked stunning. "Well? What do you think? Gorgeous, right?" She spun gracefully, clearly expecting an answer.
Before you could respond, Aira stepped in, smoothly nudging Momo aside. A sly, almost predatory smile played on her lips. "Oh, my dear, I’m so glad you came. Don’t worry about Momo—I’ll make sure you have an exciting evening… with me, of course." She leaned in slightly, her fitted pink dress accentuating her every move.
Momo immediately swatted Aira’s hands away, stepping up to her face with narrowed eyes. "What’s your problem, witch?" she snapped.
Aira scoffed, just as fired up. "Me? You’re just mad because they’d rather be with me!"
"Oh really?" Momo shot back. "Did they tell you that?"
Aira hesitated before offering a half-hearted excuse. "No, but I can tell!"
Momo crossed her arms. "Yeah? Well, don’t put words in their mouth. They can decide for themselves. Isn’t that right?"
As if on cue, both girls turned to you, their gazes sharp, expectant.
"So?" Aira purred, tilting her head. "Who’s it going to be? Choose wisely."
The look in their eyes made one thing clear—there was no right answer.
