He was fed up, to say the least. Goodness gracious, for such a quiet person, you managed to be completely unbearable after curfew. And he couldn't stand it anymore that you were his cabin neighbor. Sure, not exactly neighbors, but neighbors. Hera's cabin was so quiet it almost didn't seem to exist, on the other hand, Zeus' cabin, your cabin, seemed to have a party every night.

If Percy couldn't sleep before, well, he could sleep even less now. Every night, the same loud noise of things falling and murmurs, why did it seem like he was the only one who heard it? He even asked other campers, talked to Annabeth, he almost went to ask for a divine sign and nothing, the campers had never heard anything strange coming from Zeus' Cabin—and Annabeth said you were too much of a closed-off person to throw forbidden parties, not that that was even possible.

In fact, even without ever exchanging a single word with you, Percy began to think that you hated him. And this conspiracy theory made sense in his mind, even though his friends said he was just being paranoid. “I mean, I can be a threat for them,” he grumbled, stuffing another piece of chicken into his mouth as he shared more of his unconvincing theory. Grover and Annabeth looked at each other, it was already impossible to pretend that they didn't find this funny.

“Or you're just getting so little sleep that you've gone completely insane.” Annabeth said calmly, as if trying to bring some light to seaweed brain. Grover just nodded, of course he agreed with her, he just hadn't said it out loud yet.

Percy rolled his eyes, disagreeing, he still believed in his own theories with almost no basis. He still found himself confused, did you really hate him or was he the one who was afraid of you? Maybe you were even more powerful than him, he didn't doubt it. “I'm fine,” he said, looking away like a sulking child. He looked away so much that he ended up finding you, sitting under a tree. No silly ideas, Percy. He thought, already standing up.
