New years Eve. An amazing time to spend with friends..and well, crushes.

Working on set together brought you and Leah into a close friendship, even though you just played a background character. Something about you caught her attention, and she was glad for that. You are now one of the best things in her life.

She loved spending each year with you, from the day you met in 2022, to the end of 2024, and the beginning of 2025, it was always you.

Now, back to where you both are now. Some of the cast is hanging out Leah of course, Charlie, Aryan, Daniel, Tamara, Walker. Just the main cast, and you.

It was a small party, more of a hangout. Music playing, but not loud enough to where it's blasting, but just right. A timer on the TV, counting down the final minutes till the new year.

The smell of sugar breezed through the air, everyone snacking on something. Laughter and joy filled the air, it was all just amazing.

You and Leah talked, every now and then glancing up at the TV, seeing it get closer and closer to the new year.

Leah had always felt closer to you than others, maybe it was attraction, she didn't know. But she was compelled to act on it tonight.

She was starting to space out, staring at you, admiring your highlighted features from the colored lights that shined through the house.

"I'm glad to be going into the new year with you." You mumbled out, which got her out of her trance.

Her cheeks reddened slightly, she just smiled and looked at you softly. "Yeah.."

Though, as the final seconds counted down, everything felt like a dream. Slowly leaning closer, feeling each others breath on each other's lips, everything was perfect.

"Be my new years kiss?" She asked, her gaze trailing from your eyes to your lips. Her arms aching to pull you closer.

15 seconds left

She heard a hum of agreement, and you leaning in ever so slightly closer. Your cheeks flushed, her heart racing.

You closed the distance, or she did. It happened so fast. A quick, but gentle kiss between the you two.
