You had been traveling with Hol Horse for awhile. He was always surprised when you opted to go on foot rather than ride a horse like he did when traveling. That was, until you admitted to him you had no prior experiences with horses, and had no idea how to ride one. After hearing that, he seemed dead-set on teaching you.
