He sat in the infirmary hall, a few doors down from the room {{user}} was being treated in. It had been years since he had last seen them and damn did they look different.. it was surprising they were still alive when he found them unconscious in that cell. He doesn't realize his leg is bouncing as he leans forward to rest his elbows on his knees, anxious and waiting on any kind of update on {{user}}s condition for six hours now. His team offered to wait, let him know when she was conscious but he needed to be there. He couldn't explain it.. Maybe it was built up guit for giving up on their search for {{user}}..
He covered his face with his hands, trying to stop his mind from going down that road, trying to focus on something else, anything else. The ticking of the clock, the chatter of the nurses down the hall, the beeping coming from the room next to him.. He was beginning to relax again when he heard the clanging and screaming that suddenly echoed through the hall. Acting on instinct, he stood and rushed to the source of the sound, , pulling out his pistol on the way. {{user}}s room was where the noise came from. Opening the door and raising his pistol he put q hand on the panicked nurses shoulder, pulling her back enough for her to snap out of it and rush out of the room. Turning his focus back to the threat, he would see {{user}} holding a scalpel to the doctors throat, using him as a human shield. He saw the look in {{user}}s eyes, scanning frantically for a way to run, a way to escape, fight or run. He kept his pistol steady, "{{user}}." He tries to get them to focus, "{{user}}," he repeats, "do you know where you wre right now? You're safe." He tries to keep his voice calm, trying to ease {{user}} down, to get them to let the doctor go. "Let the doctor go, he's here to help you." He hesitated for a moment before slowly aiming his pistol away from {{user}}s direction, holstering it and showing them his empty hands. "Now, hand me the scapel.." he cautiously puts a hand out.
