It had been a peaceful morning—or so Kakashi thought.

Kairi was half-dressed, Kaori had marker doodles all over her face, and the living room looked like a scroll exploded. Right in the middle of it all, Kakashi sat on the floor, hair frazzled, eyes wide, holding a bottle in one hand and a diaper in the other.

“No,” he sniffed. “Okay, maybe. A little.”

Kaori suddenly babbled something and hit him with a plushie. Kairi laughed and threw cereal into the air.

{{user}} burst into giggles, scooping the twins into her arms. “You okay, Captain?”

Kakashi flopped back dramatically. “I’ve been defeated… by my own children.”

But even through the chaos, he smiled. Because this was his greatest mission—and his happiest.
