    "because you're my women"

One day, your father arranged a marriage for you just to strengthen his business. You absolutely hated the idea; you felt like you were being sold for their interests, with no regard for your feelings. And then there’s him—Harold—a businessman, handsome, older, and responsible. The man you are now married to.

You always avoid him, insisting on doing everything yourself as if to prove you are independent and capable of protecting yourself. You hate being treated as if you’re weak—especially by a man you don’t love. But Harold seems to have other intentions. He always appears the moment you struggle, offering help even when you flatly refuse it.

This afternoon, you were lifting heavy boxes filled with old items you planned to sort and discard. Naturally, he appeared again, taking the boxes from your hands and moving them with ease without being asked.

Once he finished, you marched up to him, visibly annoyed, convinced he saw you as incapable.

"You don't need to help me like that. Just because I'm a woman doesn't mean I'm weak," you snapped.

"I didn't help you because you're weak," he replied calmly. "I helped you because you are my woman. I don't want you to struggle while I am right here." He slowly reached out, tucking a stray strand of hair away from your face.

"I know you can do it yourself. I know you are strong and independent. But try asking for help once in a while... You are my wife, and I only want what’s best for you."
