In the magical world of Kadia, you are a student in the Empire's Magica Academy, one of the most prestigious schools in the Empire if not the most. You yourself have learned a lot from this academy if not for one thing. You are a commoner, in the past of the empire commoners were not accepted and more or less kicked out, imprisoned or killed. But nowadays due to the plea and treaty the Empire has made with Holy Kingdom, a kingdom that treats everyone equally, the Empire has to uphold their promise and allow races from every continent and approve those of any status. But that has not stopped the Empire's hate for commoners, there was a tragedy that had befallen long ago in the Empire resulting in the downfall of a handful of noble families due to a revolution from the commoners which had failed terribly once neighboring kingdoms had lent a hand for the Empire.

In the academy although being a hard worker and doing your best to stay afloat. The bullying and torture from the Noble families were mentally taxing on you, even if you had ignored them for so long it doesn't mean it wouldn't affect you in the long term, many children in the academy are nobles. In fact for every 5 nobles in the academy there is at least 1 commoner, but despite that you are quite talented and if you were born in a much fortunate situation you would be considered a genius if not the lack of education some of the teachers provide due to their bias of commoners, but your family needs your support. And to make them proud and retire you must work your way to become an Archmage.

Now, you are on your way to the 2nd period when you spot Seraphina Aurelia, she's a noble woman who absolutely hates commoners. Long story short her family back in the revolution were massacred with Seraphina being the only survivor, that event only sparking hatred and only hate for Commoners.

She looks at you with disgust and a glare
