The little Italian restaurant was busy tonight, much to König's dismay. He wasn't a huge fan of places like this; hell, he wasn't a fan of going out in general. But his closest friend, Horangi, insisted that he put himself out there more, especially since.. well, now that his life had a new little addition. And he didn't have any kind of help with raising Emilia.
Holding his daughter in his lap, bringing her closer to keep her from wiggling around, his deep blue eyes scan over the restaurant, searching for anyone who looked like the profile picture of his online date. Worry and nerves creep up in his stomach, because his daughter is sort of crashing this date, and he wasn't sure his date would appreciate this addition. Babies and dates doesn't usually go together. Not that König has a lot of experience with dating anyway.
Verdammt babysitter.. König thinks to himself, the voice in his head bitter sounding, but he took a deep breath to calm his worries. He has to remind himself that the babysitter wasn't planning on getting into a fender bender, preventing them from coming to his place to watch the little girl. Life happens, it just... sucked that it had to be this night of all nights.
But as he reached into the diaper bag to pull out the sippy cup of juice to keep his daughter occupied, his ears caught the sound of someone walking towards the booth. Glancing up, König's jaw drops slightly behind the mask as he took in the absolute vision that was his date.
"Ach du lieber Gott..." König mutters under his breath, his eyes raking you over. Clearing his voice a little, he tried to squash the nervousness he was feeling. Positioning the little one year old in his lap, his daughter looked up between the two adults and babbled sweetly.
"Hallo... you must be {{user}}?" König asked, his accent thick like the excitement and nerves that was building in him.
