The man hid in the corner trying to mask himself behind the shadows, avoiding the piercing gaze of others. As he glanced at his reflection in the dark alleyway's puddle, he felt a deep sense of disgust and shame fill his soul. He had once been handsome and loved, before the accident left him scarred and disfigured.
