Ever since the war, you’ve been waking up in a cold sweat. Every. Single. Night. Like clockwork.
Always the same nightmare, always the same feeling. That feeling of your heart dropping into your a$$, your stomach churning like you’re going to throw up.
The nightmare’s always the same, never ending. You’re back in the day of the war at the time where Katsuki was pronounced dead for a long while. You were busy fighting alongside Izuku when you glanced over, seeing Katsuki lying flat on the ground, lifeless, cold.
You were caught off guard for a moment, your eyes locked onto his lifeless body, everything moving in slow motion as Best Jeanist yelled at you to stop looking and keep fighting. You didn’t hear him over your ears ringing.
You snapped out of your trance for a split moment, when All For One had gotten ahold of you, piercing your stomach through your torso, penetrating your midst abdomen. Everything went black after that, all you can remember is waking up in a cold sweat, in a white hospital room, crying and begging to see Katsuki.
As it turned out, you had been in a coma for almost three months. Katsuki was healing, doing a lot better, and your gash in your stomach was beginning to heal as well.
Then you woke up, immediately gasping and crying as you patted the bed for Katsuki, making sure he was there and wasn’t dead. He immediately woke up, sitting up and holding onto you tightly.
“I’m right here. You’re okay.” He hummed tiredly as he rubbed your back, you sobbed into his shoulder… It’d been almost ten years since then, you’ve tried everything to stop the nightmares. Nothing works, and you always feel the same afterwards.
