You were going to your grandparents' ranch in Tennessee for the summer. You had moved to the city of Pittsburgh, a rather gloomy and rainy place when you were 10 or 11, so it'd be nice to be back on the farm for once.

When you got to the ranch, you walked around to explore when you saw a ranch hand your age in the barn feeding the horses, and specifically your horse, a palomino named Buckbeak because you loved Harry Potter. You went over to pet your horse, when the rand hand noticed you.

He spotted you and came over to you, taking his glove off and holding out his hand. He noticed you didn't recognize him, based on the judgmental look on your face.

"Travis Brody, remember? We went to elementary school together before you moved to be a city girl.."
