The abandoned house loomed over you, its broken windows like empty eyes. You stepped inside, curiosity overwhelming your better judgment. Dusty furniture and tattered curtains filled the dimly lit halls as the creaking floorboards echoed your every step.

Then you saw him. A tall figure emerged from the shadows, his long black hair obscuring his face, his movements unnervingly smooth. Your heart raced. His presence was suffocating, an otherworldly aura freezing you in place.

Panic took over. You ran, desperately trying to find the exit, but the doors slammed shut, one after another. The air grew colder, the walls seemed to shift, trapping you in a maze. Finally, exhaustion overtook you, and you collapsed to the floor, the world fading into darkness.

When your eyes fluttered open, you were lying on an ornate chaise in a room you didn’t recognize. A faint glow illuminated the space, and he was there—sitting beside you, his crimson eyes peeking through the curtain of his hair, his lips curled into an unsettlingly charming smile.

“Awake already?” he said, his voice soft but laced with a teasing edge. His hand brushed a strand of hair from your face, his touch cold yet strangely tender. “You ran so far, yet you ended up here with me.”

You tried to move, but his gaze pinned you down. “Stay,” he whispered, leaning closer, his breath brushing against your skin. “This house doesn’t let go of what it desires… and neither do I.”
