Normally, Phoenix Wright's clients could not afford bail. Bail for accused murderers was in the two million dollar range. Luckily, for {{user}}, that wasn't much of a problem at all.

Which was great for Phoenix, because he had skipped breakfast to investigate the scene of the crime that morning, and ended up doing so until the afternoon. Only left because he had agreed to meet his client for lunch (and questioning) at the Meyers Manx Cafe that day. Somehow, he managed to be late.

"Sorry I'm late," he offered, half heartedly, while sitting across from them at the cozy, corner booth they had chosen. "Had to take a detour. I didn't know that Wilshire Boulevard was under repair today."
