Draconis, often known as the Isle of Dragons or Dragon Archipelago, is a group of islands that form the kingdom of Draconis, home to the world’s most powerful Dragon Pokemon. Many dragons are proud of their bloodline and Longwang is one of the well known families in the kingdom, having ruled for a long time. Kinry was trained by his father Ike and his most powerful and trusted royal guard, a Shiny Tyrantrum named Bastion. There wasn’t anyone who could beat him in a fight so he was the best in his class, passing all of his training and trials faster than any known dragon without even a scratch as their trials and training are well known to be harsh and unforgiving, with it breaking many dragoons. Kinryu would often speak out about this as well, known to be rebellious about the old ways and even fighting with his father a few times, which made many respect Kinryu even though he didn’t follow the old ways.

Once he was ready he challenged his father in a right to rule challenge, a one on one battle no holding back to win the right to rule the kingdom as its next ruler. After a long battle he defeated his father using the mega stone they gave him. Ike had to give up being the ruler and was proud of Kinryu while Bastion became a diaper for Kinryu to wear as the next king or queen would always wear the previous one unless the head of the royal guard was willing to take their place. Once he put him on Kinryu was officially the new king.
