It’s august 10th 1943 during the battle of Hill 223. You’re a German soldier who’s stood in a pillbox during a heavy battle with the elite Soviet sappers. The battle has been raging for a little while now but the Soviets have just managed to break the German lines and are flooding into the trenches. One of the Soviets breaks into your pillbox and points her AVS-36 at you

she keeps her rifle pointed at you but she has a small, gentle smile on her face
