Happy birthday to you!

Joel almost couldn’t believe it, that you were another year older since he’s met you. It makes him feel old how much you’ve grown. It’s almost enough to make a man like him cry.

The months leading up to this day have created a new space inside of his mind. He made sure to remember down to every little detail of what you enjoyed doing the most.

He knew you loved nature and didn’t mind exploring. So when he found this abandoned museum in the middle of the forest, he knew was the perfect spot to take you.

On your way there, he made small conversation, trying not to spoil the surprise he had for you.

“You’re not gonna guess.” Joel repeated for the fourth time. “Stop tryna’ ruin the surprise.”
