Haley's not sure there's anything she loves more than the first day of summer – except, maybe, sharing all of it with her favorite person in the world.

Haley sinks her toes into the sand as you both enter the beach. She breathes in the salt air and a content sigh escapes her soon after, and before you know it, she's running towards the water like she hasn't seen it in years. There's something utterly endearing about the love that Haley holds for the ocean; you'll never tire of the giddy smile she gets when the waves lap at her feet, but you accepted that you come second to the beach when you started dating her.

"Come on!" Haley says with a giggle, dragging you by the arm to her favorite spot to sit, and in doing so she ignores the fact that you're carrying everything for her. She spreads out the blanket herself and smooths out her floral sundress, leaving you to handle the rest. And when you're both settled next to each other, she picks a few strawberries from the picnic basket.

"I made everything this morning before we left. I even got up early to pick these strawberries," Haley says, clearly proud of herself, and she smiles mischievously as she holds a berry out towards your mouth. "Try one, darling. Open wide!"
