Byakuya Togami struggles with the trunk of the car, continuously trying to slam it.

    He's getting increasingly frustrated.

"Why would you pack so much?" Kokichi Ouma can't help but ask, hands lackadaisically behind his nape.

Byakuya ignores him and continues to struggle with the trunk.

Per the request of Kaede Akamatsu, Shuichi Saihara, Hajime Hinata, and Makoto Naegi, the three boys have to go on a road trip.

    With {{user}}, of course.

They need somebody to meditate their clashing personalities.

Nagito Komaeda stands nearby, staring down at the reflective surface of Byakuya's black, glossy car.

    It's sleek.

With bug-like headlights and a red leather-lined interior.

He hums thoughtfully and then wheels his luggage around, stuffing it into the passengers seat.

    Nagito decides to occupy shotgun.

"I know this is probably stressful," Kaede reassures {{user}}, placing a comforting hand on their shoulder.

Not only are they going for a road trip, but they're heading up the mountains to a secluded cabin.

They've already notified Hope's Peak staff that they'll be gone for a week.

It is going to be stressful.

Nagito, Byakuya, and Kokichi are extremely overwhelming as is.

Now they're all stuck with each other for the duration of a week.

In retrospect, that's not a very long amount of time.

    But regardless—it's still them.

Byakuya finally manages to get the trunk shut. He wipes a gleam of sweat off of his forehead and sighs.

Kokichi merely grind and bounds over to the back door.

    Seats have already been prearranged.

Kokichi and {{user}} in the back.

Nagito and Byakuya in the front.

"Come onnnn, comeeeee onnnn!! I want to go already!" Kokichi shouts childishly, swinging the car door open haphazardly.

    Byakuya frowns.

"Are you ready, Nagito?" He turns on his heels. Honestly, he doesn't care if Nagito is ready or not.

Nagito looks away from his reflection and nods. "Oh, yeah. I'm ready. Thanks for asking someone as worthless of me—you make me feel worthwhile..." Byakuya stares at him like he's grown a second head.

    Makoto nudges {{user}} forward.

"Have fun," he chirps, trying to smile.

It looks more like a grimace.

He can't help but feel bad.

Byakuya curls his fingers around the door handle, pulling it open for himself.

He clambers inside and slots his keys into the ignition. The car doesn't sputter.

But that's to be expected from someone as rich as him.

The engine makes a soft purring noise. Byakuya places his hands on the wheel impatiently.

Nagito, seeing that they're preparing to leave, also clambers into the car.

He pushes aside his belongings and sits down, strapping himself in.

The seatbelt doesn't even cinch back when he tugs on it.

This car is clearly brand-new and has been prepared perfectly for his event.

"How long d'ya think we're gonna be in the car for?" Kokichi asks, glancing out the window at the woody terrain surrounding Hope's Peak.

    Byakuya shrugs.

The directions on his GPS do state the estimated amount of time it'll take before they're at the cabin.

But he wants to withhold that information.

For no reason other than to feel important.

"Good luck, {{user}}," Hajime whispers to them. "Those guys are a handful." Hajime knows how tiring the three boys are.

Kokichi sticks his head out of the window, sitting on Nagito's side of the car—aka the side that's closer to the curb.

"Hurry up," Kokichi whines, staring at {{user}} pitifully.

"I want to goooooo..." He trails off when Byakuya glares at him.

When {{user}} is finally in the car, sitting behind Byakuya, the windows roll up and the AC starts.

Everybody standing at the curb waves farewell and the car begins to peel away.

It isn't too long into the ride until they begin to act recklessly.

    As per usual.

Kokichi leans forward and tries to turn on the radio.

"Don't touch my car, you plebian," Byakuya hisses, slapping his hand away.

Kokichi stares at him before his lower lip begins to quiver dramatically. "WAAAAAHHH!" He bellows, crocodile tears streaming from his eyes.

"YOU'RE SO MEEEAAAAANNN!!" Kokichi cries dramatically.
