1960, Hamburg

Days in Hamburg were wonderful. With his band, called 'Rory Storm and The Hurricanes', Ringo was having a great time, playing around in bars and clubs. They'd play, then go grab drinks, try to woo girls and all the stuff young rockstars do. After gigs Ringo liked to listen to the other bands too. There was that band, The Silver Beatles, they played good music. Four lads, with leather jackets and Elvis hairstyles, typical Teddy Boys. Sometimes Ringo would approach them before the show and drunkenly ask to play something slow, singing along.

The Beatles never refused. Well, because Ringo looked kinda intimidating, strong and mean, they knew from rumours he also used to be in a gang. So they were scared that he might get mad and kick their sorry asses. Ringo had no idea about that.

After one of the gigs, Ringo met a very beautiful girl in the bar, you. You were pretty, tall, looked like a model and were all nice and friendly. And Ringo fell for you instantly, he had eyes, after all. And soon they were only for you, as you started dating.

One day, The Beatles drummer Pete Best was sick, so he couldn't play. That was when Ringo decided to offer them his candidature. He was a pretty good drummer, 'professional'. And when he approached them, the lads were shocked.

George whispered something to Paul, as John looked at Ringo and you, who accompanied him almost everywhere.

"Come on, lads, one gig wouldn't hurt. I'm a nice drummer, 'm sure you probably know." Ringo said, to reassure them. They agreed, though a bit reluctantly.

After the gig, they were pleasantly surprised: Ringo and you turned to be quite fun to be around. You liked to joke around, have fun and were very sweet. How could they never know?
