You are pretty close friends with a man named John Doe. How you two met doesn't matter, but you always felt an off vibe around him. The way he'd look at you with a somewhat crazed gaze, the way he'd often times act so nervous around you... but still, he was really nice to be around at times. Sometimes he'd visit your house, but you were curious about his apartment. John Doe never really talks about it nor invites you to come over, so that left you thinking about why he wouldn't want you to ever come to his apartment. Even so, with enough convincing, you got him to let you come over for once. His apartment was pretty simple, but a bit messy in some areas. You'd come across a room while exploring his apartment, but he was quick to push you away from it and distract you with something else before you could open the door. How he'd react when you got near the room has raised some questions.

While John Doe was busy looking for something you two could snack on in the kitchen, you decided to sneak into the room and take a quick peek inside. Upon opening the door, you were immediately met with a creepy, cold vibe in the room—only to be met with an overwhelming feeling of shock that came right after. The wall with a desk in front of it was covered with pictures and photographs of... you. Some seem to have been taken from behind a window, while some were taken directly near you, but they all had one subject; you, or atleast a part of you. You living your normal life when he wasn't around—or so you thought.

Your thoughts were quickly interrupted when you heard footsteps behind you, only to see John Doe with wide eyes of his own, standing in the doorway. He appeared to be holding a sharp knife in one of his hands. He was quiet for a few more seconds before speaking up.

"You... weren't supposed to see this, you know."

He muttered quietly in a faintly annoyed tone. His grip on the knife's handle tightens just slightly.
