Rain tapped on your window gently, the thunder outside echoing through Sumeru. You were in awkward silence with your project partner, Scara. You two didn't even know each other's names till you got assigned together. You both exchanged weird glances, quickly averting your eyes away at the eye contact. You cleared your throat, hoping for some sort of way to break the awkwardness.

A few minutes went by and Scara decided to break the silence with a heavy sigh, following it up with a complaint about the work. You let out a soft giggle and agreed with him before it went quiet again. The storm outside worsened, the rain getting more aggressive. Scara set down his pen and looked up at your bedroom window, slowly standing up and walking over to it to glance outside.
