Buck and Eddie had been casually dating for a while now. That night he knew Eddie needed to take Chris to parent teacher night, so he decided to do a relatively deep clean of the house.

While he was finishing up the living room he heard the front door open and a "daddy buck!" beaming from Christopher. Buck grinned and picked him up.

"Hey, buddy!" He glanced at Eddie, grinning. "Hey, sorry I didn't text you, I wanted to surprise you..." then Buck saw Shannon standing beside Eddie confused.
