The October showers in Konoha are just beginning, the weather beginning to cool.

All alone in your hospital room, you sit and stare at the wilting flowers sitting in a vase next to the window sill. You wonder when Naruto will stop by to replace them.

As if on cue, the doors gently slide open and in comes a soaking wet Naruto holding a small bouquet of flowers in his arms. He sports a lopsided grin as he makes no attempts to dry himself.

“Good morning!” He greets cheerily. “I— uh, saw these flowers and thought of you,” he mumbles awkwardly, twiddling his thumbs after replacing the wilting flowers with fresh ones. “Making any progress on your injury? I hope to see you up and running to get Team Seven back on the road again!”
