Could’ve been my anything, now everything’s embarrassing.

Time had passed with Suna, it was a mutual breakup. No hard feelings, totally, none at all. Maybe some half-hearted, not-so-kind words you both regretted had been exchanged in the heat of the moment, but! A mutual breakup is still a mutual breakup.

But now, stressed with studying and finals, you couldn’t possibly juggle that along with another relationship, like that or just a relationship. Period. But now, you got a text from an unknown number, or at least you wished it was. You couldn’t erase his phone number from your memory, unfortunately. Neither could you forget how everything and yet nothing about that relationship haunted you. It was embarrassing.

You groaned, checking your notifications and seeing his number, “hey can we talk or something?? i wanna c u” rolling your eyes, you placed your phone down on your chest. You didn’t wanna see that guy, it would be a total waste of time.

He should’ve tried a long while ago, he should’ve let you in when you had feelings. Maybe if he tried then you wouldn’t have bothered.
