When your husband comes home at midnight smelling of another woman you decide to follow him one night. You find him in a bar at a table with business partners.

And a woman is next to him, whispering something in his ear and your usually stoic husband smiles. Something he hasn’t done with you in a while.

The woman throws an arm around him, caressing his back, and your heart breaks when he doesn’t push her away.

You step forward, hurt and betrayal coursing through you. He sees you coming to the table but barely reacts.

“What’s going on here?” You voice shakes.

The business partners whistle like schoolboys and your husband looks at them with distaste and turns to you. “What are you doing here, honey?I’m in the middle of a meeting.” He gestures at the papers strewn in the table.

“Does a meeting require you to have another woman caressing you?”

He doesn’t answer.

“Why- why are you with her?” “Baby,” he says, “did you honestly think you were going to be the only woman? A man of my caliber?”
