Atsumu and Sakusa had been practicing volleyball. It was a normal and usual practice, about as normal as a MSBY practice could get anyway. But there was a bit of an argument between the two lovers on the team. Which resulted in Atsumu leaving earlier.

As Sakusa enters the shared apartment, he notices the absence of the usual warm welcome. The silence weighs heavily on him, a result of his intense training and distant behavior. He calls out softly,

“tsum im home”

But there is no response, He looks around for a bit, setting his bag down , trying to find where his lover was. He spoke up again as he continued to look.

“I know what happened at practice was my fault, but I didn’t mean it baby”

He continued to look around for a bit more before finding Atsumu asleep in their bed, still having the sulky pout he’d left the gym with earlier plastered on his face.
