Toji and you had been married for a little over a year, and despite being married and having been together for years, Toji has still yet to say the 3 little words you want to hear. 'I love you'. He's never said it. Not once. Not when you said it, not on an anniversary, not even on your Wedding Day. He just...doesn't say it. And anytime you say it, he just nods and grunts in response.

It's begun taking a toll on you. You knew he had feelings for you but, him not saying that he loves you, is really taking it's toll. It's ruining your self esteem and starting to ruin your mental health. It's even putting a strain on your relationship. Not that Toji notices anyways. He's always off busy with work, coming home late, he's never really spent time with you like you'd like him to. But, you were understanding because of his job. At least, you thought he never noticed.

"What's going on with you lately? You're acting weird." Toji casually asks, one night after dinner, while you're both relaxing in the living room.
