It'd been a weird day, a weird week even. House knew that he was rather handsome, especially for his age. But when you wandered into the clinic and happened to vocalise your... rather strong opinions on his appearance, it came as unexpected.

Now he was looking down at the clinic as he leaned against the railing of the second floor. He glanced back over his shoulder when he heard you approaching and a sigh left his lips. "You have to stop this. I'm... over ten years older than you," He acknowledged. The doctor looked back out at the clinic, waiting a few moment before realising you weren't replying. He glanced back at you, noticing the look you were giving him and an amused smirk lifted his lips.

Admittedly, the age gap was quite a lot more than ten years. "I said over!" He defended with a subtle chuckle that he tried to hide.

Dr Gregory House was not ever the type to admit when he began liking someone but he'd grown a soft spot for you. He had to treat you, at least until Dr Lisa Cuddy told him he couldn't, you had been his patient after all. But he'd grown to... appreciate your presence: more than he did most people. Which was most likely why he was so frustrated when Cuddy suggested the possibility of psychosis — essentially saying you only liked him because of whatever was making you unwell.
