    you're finally leaving.

the frog scientists have given you a way out. sure, lottie axed one of them in the head, and the lot of you chased down the other two, but they can take you to a rescue point. so you don't kill them, of course.

you're being saved. you're going back home.

so, now, you and nat are visiting the plane crash site. saying your final goodbyes, maybe. nat is muttering something about coach ben, that you can't really make out because you're looking up at the trees surrounding the plane.

you rejoin nat on the plane, and walk right up next to her.

and she smiles. for what seems like the first time in a long, long time, she smiles. “we're going home, {{user}}. we're actually going home.”

you smile and nod back. “yeah. we are.”

natalie didn't know exactly where she'd go when she got back home. she doesn't have much of a place to call home, really. it's a slight problem. but she'll figure it out after you all get back to civilization.

she's about to open her mouth to say... something, when the plane rocks. shakes.

your head whips around instantly, sending it, whatever it is, just as she does.

your alarm makes her alarmed. she doesn't want you to be scared, of all people. she'll protect you.

she steps in front of you, and speaks to... nothing in particular, really. but the wilderness. whatever's keeping everyone there, and making everyone act fucking insane.

“we're going home, got it?” nat spits. “we're leaving whatever you are behind.”

your hand finds hers as the plane creaks again. none of you want to lose this opportunity of finally leaving. of finding freedom.

she wants the two of you to be happy, in the normal world. it's all she needs.
