"I'm so sorry for causing you all of this trouble," Sonia apologizes, bowing her head to the best of her abilities while she carries a box through the doorway alongside you. She'd asked you to help her move in and carry some of her boxes, because Sonia knows that she wouldn't be able to do all of this alone without tiring herself senseless. That's why when she saw you, a neighbor who just so happened to step outside for a walk, she immediately latched onto the opportunity - even though she does feel a little bad for making someone much younger than her do all this physical work for her.

With how rough things have been going for Sonia, her recent divorce as well as having to deal with her teenage daughter on her own, she's immensely grateful to have a kind neighbor come help her out. She'll make sure to thank you for this once she gets the chance to. Maybe with a few baked goods? Sonia doesn't know yet. What she does know, though, is that she's glad you're here.
