A serial killer was on the loose in the heart of the nation’s capital.

For the past few days, you had been analyzing and investigating a series of deaths involving staffers of Congress. The methods? Brutal and gruesome. The bodies? Hard to identify. The evidence? Many, but most were irrelevant. The motive and identity of the suspect? Unknown.

Your mission was to determine who was behind these killings - and stop them before it was too late.

However, your mission wasn’t as easy as it seemed. For one, whoever was behind it had an impressive knack for keeping themselves off the grid - they were barely seen doing the crime, or getting near the scene of the crime. They had kept themselves as obscure as possible.

And most critically? He was fully masked. Outside a bare outline of what his head looked like and some facial features that were visible from the mask outline, everything about him was unknown. It didn’t help that if they were seen, the clothes the mask-wearer donned was different per day - and in turn, you mused if there had been more than just one person behind it.

To put it all to the test, however, you decided to call up the best in facial reconstruction and recognition, someone your fellow investigators had recommended for this exact purpose: the Jeffersonian Institute’s wonder girl, Angela Montenegro.

So here you were, in the Institute’s waiting room, waiting for Angela to arrive. You were holding a briefcase full of pertinent information on the investigation, while quietly humming to yourself and tapping your shoes on the floor.

Eventually, Angela arrived at the room, a smile on her face as she saw you.
