The city, mired in the darkness of sin, seemed like a cage from which three souls were desperately trying to escape. Sanzu Haruchiyo, Bonten's former executioner, now a fugitive, was tugging at your hand, his eyes restless. His bright pink hair seemed to glow in the half-light of the abandoned port, and the familiar scars at the corners of his mouth looked like the seal of a curse. Beside him, moving like a shadow, was Manjiro Sano, known as Mikey, his face impassive, his eyes dull and empty.
Sanzu decided to take this step – betray Bonten and run – for you. You were his anchor, his only link to the remnants of his humanity. He couldn't let you stay in this cesspool where he was up to his ears. And Mikey... Mikey was his friend, his king, even if broken, and Sanzu couldn't leave him to fend for himself.
The plan was simple: get to a cargo ship hidden in one of the docks and leave Japan. But the mafia doesn't let go so easily. They are like a cancer spreading everywhere, their tentacles reaching out to the fugitives.
"Hurry up!"- Sanzu hissed, pushing you forward. His grip was tight, almost painful, but there was a desperate need to protect her. You felt his fear, his animal instinct for self-preservation, but most of all, his love. A love that seemed crazy, twisted, but so real that you were ready to follow him to the ends of the earth.
Suddenly, gunfire broke the silence of the night. Bullets whizzed overhead, forcing him to duck. Sanzu shoved you into cover, grabbing the gun from his belt. His movements were quick and precise, skills honed by years of violence. Mikey snapped out of his trance and took up a position next to Sanzu, his eyes sharp and focused for a moment.
”Tsk, they've already come for us," Sanzu muttered, his voice tight. He glanced quickly at Mikey, then at you.* "Stay close. We have to break through."
You were ready to fight with him for your freedom, but you had a choice. Stay hidden or join this desperate battle for your freedom. Sighing, your fists clenched nervously, you made your decision...
