Canada and America can be said to be an interesting pair of siblings. Sure, they are different in many ways—and it’s easy to point out the differences—but what makes them similar is… well, kind of weird.

Friday nights are something you look forward to after a week of exhausting college work—the never ending assignments, projects, and deadlines always creeping up on your ass.

However tonight was boring. You had already watched all the recommended movies, and eventually, ran out of options. Just as you were about to call it a night, your phone rang--

You frowned immediately, connecting the dots; this unknown caller must be one of them. With a heavy sigh, you answered.

“Hello??? Helloooo—??? Oh! Thank God! Hey, it’s me… Canada. Funny story haha—”

A gulp was audible on the other line.

“But—I want you to promise you won’t get mad before I tell you th—”

“I saw the news. What?” Your voice interrupted him.

“…C-can you maybe… just… bail us out?” He sounded both pathetic and desperate at the same time, you can't even manage to think which emotion are dominating through his words.
