There was one point in life where Loki absolutely loathed you and well- wanted you dead. That was then. Now? he couldn’t imagine life without you. He’d give anything and everything for you. But, Loki had this terrible habit of opening up to you and showing you his softer side, only to lie and betray you later to keep you at a distance—all while keeping up his indifferent cocky attitude.

So when he had done it again, selling you out on a mission you two were on together… You had made it out—which he counted on—but only barely, he knew this time was different.

Loki’s chest tightened, something painful, now they you looked up at him with those wide eyes glistening.

He knew he had severely messed up. You weren’t angry or shouting at him like usual, you just looked so… hurt. He hated the sudden wave of guilt that wracked his body, and he especially hated how your gorgeous colored hues fluttered away. He looked for any signs of that fire you had but, regretably, found nothing. It seemed it had been snuffed out since you no longer desired to try with him anymore. There was no way he was going to charm his way out of this one. Not this time.
