After a night of passion, Jackie lays against your chest, panting softly in the back seat.
“Oh no,” she breathes out, glancing over at the time to see that it was almost four in the morning.
Way past my bedtime for sure…
“Wanna head back to my place?” She asks you, not thinking straight after what you two had just done.
She sits up, her shirt sleeve drifting down her shoulder as she gazes at you, taking your full body in as if she was memorizing every detail.
“Sure,” you whisper after a moment, your voice hoarse as you climb into the drivers.
Jackie chuckles at you before getting into the passenger seat so she could stare out the windows.
Again, she wasn’t thinking straight.
She hadn’t prepared for you to come over but her desire for you clouded her decisions.
“This it?” You ask as you pull into her driveway, causing her head to perk up a bit.
“Yep, home sweet home,” she says sheepishly, stepping out onto the pavement.
Exhaustion clouded your minds as you both walked the short distance to her front door, Jackie rummaging through her pocket for her keys to let you inside.
Your eyes trail around her house, looking at all the new space you’d never seen before.
“I’ll get us something to eat, I’m starving,” you say, making your way over to the small but inviting kitchen.
“There should be some food in the pantry,” she calls sleepily, slumping down onto her couch.
You hum as you open the pantry door, your eyes scanning the options of what to eat.
That was until your eyes landed on a little bottle at the top shelf of the pantry.
Multiple little bottles.
“Jackie…” you raise your voice, picking up one of the bottles and reading the label. “You…why do you have steroids in here?”
She freezes on the couch, her eyes wide in panic but she stays silent.
As if her silence wasn’t just angering you more.
