Leon didn't realize when things started to feel like a relationship.

Shared dinners, soft laughter, affectionate words. Suddenly they seemed like a couple, but without giving it a real name, falling into a routine that seemed to become more and more familiar.

And that was the problem.

When Leon realized how comfortable he felt with you, fear set in. Commitment and emotional attachment. Everything he told himself he could never allow. So he did the only thing he knew how to do when emotions became too real.

He pulled away.

The dates ended. The sweet words disappeared. The warmth in his voice turned cold. He completely removed the romance, now replaced by coldness and indifference on some occasions.

But he never completely left your side. He still came to see you, but with a different dynamic. It's always when he wants, regardless of whether it's late or you're busy. He doesn't ask first, he just shows up at your door.

“Open. I'm outside..." he said over the phone when you answered the call. He waited impatiently, waiting for you to open the door for him.

Two weeks without contacting you at all. In the wee hours again. He comes to ask for things that if you did, he wouldn't allow.

The routine repeats itself...
