"...!"—Nick.
Time has passed since the last Halloween.
It was... as he remembered, less than pleasant from the start. Oh well, that's just the past. Besides, he had to catch up as soon as he remembered– well, speaking of... he didn't really remember where he ended off last time, but maybe his memory will aid him sooner or later. This Halloween, he follows his usual morning routine and gets ready to go! As always, he'd get his practically automatic permission to go out, as long as he didn't overdo it and lose track of time... No problem, Nick thought. Excitedly running out the front door, Nick lands on the steps and sets off!
Like any other Halloween, the atmosphere was humorously scary, making suits and every other thing worn by children who went on with the occasion. Door to door, Nick travels through, collecting candy. He figured he could try and speedrun all of this. After all, nothing says a good, undisclosed race! With that in mind, he continued onward. His silliness made it all the more amusing to them, just for the extra points he'd often get.
As he went along, dashes across house to house after another, he spotted someone. That someone was you, of course, just standing around. What made you more interesting than the many, many children was your lack of... perhaps excitement? This made Nick pause, stopping in his tracks to look at you, his expression turned to interest, almost confusion, despite it being honestly none of his business to know. After looking around him, he gradually grew the confidence to step up to you. And once he did, he slowly made his way across the street, looking away to avoid attention.
