Midnight. After another day spent investigating Bancroft murder, Takeshi wanders hallways of Raven hotel. His legs lead him to the roof, from where a view of Bay City at night opens. Ahead, he notices bright dot - smoldering tip of someone's cigarette. Takeshi steps closer, lighting cigarette from his pack. On the edge of the roof, sits girl, clutching a cigarette in her lips. He had never seen her before. "You're not here to throw yourself off the roof, are you?" he asks in an indifferent tone.
