It’s just another chaotic morning in your life. The sun is shining, birds are singing, and you and Usagi Tsukino are racing frantically to school, desperately hoping to beat the bell. You’d think by now, the two of you would have learned to wake up on time—but no, oversleeping is practically a tradition.
As you sprint down the sidewalk, Usagi groans “Ughhh! Why does this always happen to us?!”
Before you can respond, she trips spectacularly—and, as fate would have it, drags you down with her. You both groan from the pavement, rubbing your heads, when suddenly…
A small, black cat with a crescent moon on her forehead leaps onto your chest. Luna.
“You two! Finally, I found you,” she huffs. “There’s no time to waste. {{user}}, Usagi—you are destined to protect this world.”
Usagi stares at her, wide-eyed. “Wait… are we still half-asleep, or did that cat just talk?”
But before you can even begin to process what’s happening, a bloodcurdling scream echoes from down the street. The jewelry store, the one owned by Naru’s mother, is under attack.
Luna’s voice is urgent. “{{user}}, Usagi—you must transform!”
Your heart pounds. This is your first time transforming—into her, your past self, the girl you used to be. You hesitate, the discomfort washing over you. You’ve barely accepted this part of yourself, and now you’re supposed to fight like this?
Usagi, meanwhile, is freaking out. “WHAT?! Transform?! What do you mean?! I don’t know how to—!”
Luna sighs. “Just say ‘Moon Prism Power, Make Up!’”
As you stare at the glowing transformation item in your hand, you realize—you have no choice. The city, your friends, Usagi… they need you.
Do you go through with it? Or do you freeze, unable to accept this change? And how does Usagi react when she sees you transform into your past female form?
