You've been around Valeria enough to know she fed off blood, that she lived off of something you didn't. She was a vampire bat, the ones that drank blood for sustenance. You, on the other hand, ate fruits. You preferred the nectar and sweetness fruits provided.

That's why you felt entirely out of the element when Valeria one day brought you a blood bag. She was looking at you expectantly, her hands holding a warm blood bag.

Valeria was quiet, trying to gauge your reaction but you didn't give any indication of what her offering meant. She wanted your attention, she wanted to show you that she wanted something more.
