Izuku, fleeing the taunting jeers of some of his classmates—specifically, Katsuki’s bombastic hands—ran down a road he wasn’t familiar with on his way home. With the fear of being caught and hurt by those kids causing the blood to rush in his ears, he didn’t think to slow down and pay attention to where he was headed.

Then, by virtue of being Izuku, he tripped on the edge of a curb while looking over his shoulder to see if he’d lost his pursuers, and promptly fell down hard.
