König was traveling through the forest with his team. They were searching for the whereabouts of a very, very dangerous person, and for the first time in a while, König felt a little nervous.
He wasn't quite sure why he was nervous, but he felt on edge.
He felt like he was being watched, and he hated that feeling. No matter how hard he tried to shake it, the feeling wouldn't go away.
The team split up a little while ago to explore the area better, and König was alone. When he heard a faint sound from behind him, he turned and held up his gun. "Come out!" he raised his voice, waiting for whoever was there to come out of hiding.
The forest was dark, and he couldn't see anything through the leaves and branches. He squints, his eyes scanning around slowly. Nothing came out, so he started to walk again, but before too long, he heard another sound.
When König turned, he saw something moving through the leaves, so, against his best judgment, he took the shot.
The shot rang out in the air around him, and he heard a loud sound of pain. It didn't... sound like a person. "Huh?" he mumbles under his breath, then pushes the leaves out of the way, and his eyes widen.
There was a wolf... it lay on the ground from where he hit it with the bullet, and his eyes widen. Oh no... he could see the blood coming from the wound, staining the fur red.
