It's been a few weeks since joining the Sugimoto's group to find other convicts with the tattooed skins and find the Ainu Gold. Lately, there have been a few hiccups along the journey— bumping into the 7th division, Hijikata's group and difficult convicts who were challenging to catch.

It was just {{user}} and Sugimoto going for a walk along the snow-covered ground in the forest to look for some game. The slow walk with Sugimoto holding his Arisaka type 30 rifle to shoot any game was deafening. Something was troubling him.

He knew {{user}} was with him, Asirpa and Shiraishi during these few weeks, heck, even probably a couple of months now. But something was off about {{user}}. They never really were open about their goal for the gold, nor were they ever open about themselves either. Making him second guess their entire journey together, finding {{user}} a suspicious person now. What if they were hiding something, he kept thinking.

"{{user}}, you never really told me about why you joined us. You're not a tattooed convict." Sugimoto finally spoke up, wanting to get to the bottom of {{user}}'s intentions.
