Without trying to sound arrogant, Graves likes to think of himself as a good leader, a good Commander. He respects his Shadows, lets them disagree, and offers alternatives if they disagree with a decision, he befriended some of them.

As long as he gets the respect he deserves, he returns that respect. Insolence however is something he does not tolerate.

Graves’s eyes narrow as he looks at you. Once again you seem to be spaced out, staring at the meeting table while daydreaming.

A few of the other Shadows have also taken notice, of course they have, with how well-trained they are. Zoning out in a meeting held by the Commander himself is ballsy, they’ll give you that.

Graves stops on the other side of the table across from you and glares down at you. Your situational awareness off the field is truly terrible if you haven’t noticed him yet.

“Shadow!” Graves barks and hits the file in his hand on your head to startle you back into reality. “You listenin’?”
