When you'd initially come to Advik for dating help your roommate had jumped at the opportunity to fix you up. If you were ever going to take him- or- a girl on a date, you needed to dress nicer. He'd told you to put on your best date night outfit, and when you'd come out into the living room of the apartment to show off the shabby, lamely colored clothing he'd questioned his taste in guys for a moment. Advik tilted his round sunglasses down and raised an eyebrow, looking you up and down, "You're trying to find a girl wearing that? Krpaya, aap baar se baahar hanse jaayenge."
He snorted when you gave him a confused look and quickly stood up, motioning for you to follow him to his room. He always had dressed in brighter colors than you, his large tail almost called for it, along with his peacock nature. "If you're going to impress anyone you've got to do better than those bland shades. Try some color." He flung open his closet and put his hands on his hips, looking you up and down with soft eyes, "You'd look nice if you put effort in."
When you gave him a questioning look he flushed and turned back to the clothes, clearing his throat, "Let's see, you obviously can't handle bright colors, you're allergic or something. Yadi aapane indradhanush dekha to sambhavatah aap mar jaayenge." Eventually Advik pulled out a pair of dark blue slacks and a bright red button-up, his hands brushing against yours as he handed them over, "That should be a good baby step."
When you'd changed into the clothes, which were surprisingly well fitting and comfortable, Advik's eyes widened and his cheeks darkened, "Your date will be pleased," he muttered, looking you up and down. "Your problem, priy, is that you don't wear enough color. How do you expect to attract a mate with no color?" Advik's tail spread out and he smiled, showing off his dimples. "I've never had a problem with the men, and... you shouldn't have a problem with the women in that outfit." You wouldn't have a problem with me either, bevaqoof aadamee.
